Glodson Clan

The merchantile network of the prodigous and very virile mountain dwarf Glod Goldtooth. Unlike most rich dwarven patriarchs of Copperdeep, Glodson encouraged his relatives to migrate to the surface. Through that, he created a network of high-quality stores and service providers that saw the Glodson family rise to become the richest dwarven family of Copperdeep. Membership is always through familial relation. Either as direct kin, in-laws or by adoption. Nevertheless, the syndicate enjoys warm relations with a variety of other merchants and influential persons.

Public Agenda

Like most dwarven clans, the Glodson clan seeks profit and security. However, they differ from most dwarven nobility in that they aren't afraid to seek this profit from the world above. To that end they have formed the secondary objective to foster good relations between dwarves and other races, within reason.

Assets

Besides the massive amounts of coin and businesses that the Glodson clan boasts, their greatest assets is having members stationed in nearly every town and village around Copperdeep. These members, varied in trade they might be, serve as an indispensible network of information and goods that made the Glodsons the powerhouse they are today. However, their greatest strenght is also their greatest weakness. Traditionally dwarven clans form strongholds to protect their wealth and safeguard their legacy from outside attack, spread thin over the land as they are, the Glodson dwarves depend on the fortifications of whatever home they have made for themselves.
