Délphine Stéphane Larousse Anjou is the Queen and Dauphiné of the city-state of Umera. She is seen by her people and acquaintances as the fairest and most beautiful woman to have ever existed and tales and ballads are told all over Människar. However, physical appearance isn't her only grace, for she is also well known for being just, kind and charitable with her subjects.
Early Life
Délphine, like most of the nobility in Umera, was born in the purple and raised surrounded by more wealth than many kings in history could ever dream of possessing. Her family possesses uncountable mines for the extraction of gems, gold and silver, while also owning the guilds and establishments responsible for the cutting, casting and minting of the precious gems and metals. Since her early days, the girl took interest in the social art, in the game of words that is a royal court, even more Umera's, where so much wealth is involved. Despite that, she is known for having never bragged about her family's fortune. Her silver tongue, along with with her beauty, kindness and good disposition quickly made Délphine one of, if not the most beloved individual in the city. Although there exist a lot of rumors regarding said subject, it is told that its around such time, during her early adulthood that she became very close with the former Basileus of Sarus, Osteinikos Skleros. It was on her 19th birthday, during a grand ball that took place in her homage that she was crowned Queen of Umera, when the former king, Hector, choose to bend his knee to the young girl in front of the entire court, as he uttered the words:"It is unfair, my people. It is unfair that such a maiden might exist without having a crown over her head. If there's no empty throne in the world, I choose to forfeit mine, because you my lady, deserves it above all."- Hector DalgandaerIn the year 1020 she became victim of a terrible attempt of murder, being poisoned and put under a coma-like state for months. She was brought back and healed upon getting fed the Golden Brew, an incredibly powerful healing potion which had been made mainly due to the efforts of Baldardash Fullmagick and Droug of Treria
