Krakendepth Sea

Off the west coast of the continent of Enethor, you can find the Krakendepth Sea. Rich in coral reefs and diverse sea life, the sea is home to extensive biological diversity for appreciation and study, as well as great profit for fisheries and sailors. However, the sea is not only home to such small quarry, as there is a reason that the Krakendepth Sea carries the name that it does.
Exploration and history has found that it is also home to many ancient creatures, such as sea serpents and dragon turtles, covens of sea hags, morkoths, sea basilisks, even the great and terrible hungering krakens and elemental leviathans. Each creature is said to be an extension of the will of the Tidemother, from smallest shrimp to largest titan.
Within the Krakendepth Sea, allegedly lost to a great disaster long ago, is the the Calathis Archipelago, a series of many islands full of varied species of flora and fauna only found there. The descendants of explorers mingle with the indigenous peoples, bringing knowledge from both sides together in a beautiful harmony.
