Stormhold
"I stand before you all and feel both honored and humbled, I believe it is necessary to make my first official address hear and not in Highsummit, because here is where the scar is and the reminder of what happens when you fail as a ruler. When it becomes not only allowed, but accepted, to trample over the needs of others to fulfil the wants of a those who have deemed themselves to important. Let us all remember that authority is privilege that can be taken away, I promise to uphold the principals of the accords and to ensure this kingdom will be upheld as a beacon for all that is good." - King Bronson Hotham, inaugural tour of the kingdom, 2510 AGF
Infrastructure
The Adamantine and Platinum mines are the heart of the city, it also boasts sizeable caravan industry to export the raw material.
History
Stormhold was founded as mining camp to help produce and refine raw ore into useable arms and armor in the campaign to push back the Wildlands. It was named because of the terrible weather that could occur in the area, due to the winds blowing two very different temperatures from the two lakes in the area (Shawgate and Trirath). Unlike Bronze Cliff the ore wasn't as easy to mine, deeper caverns had to be excavated, and while the metal was there... it didn't match the output of Bronze Cliff. In 1107 AGF a small band of Prospectors/adventurers decided to go deeper into the mountains, much deeper. They excavated by any means necessary: Pickaxes, sledgehammers, alchemical and magical explosives, and hacking through anything that got in their way. They're quest proved to be difficult and many questioned their judgement, until one day they cleared out an especially aggressive den of monsters and discovered it was sitting on top of veins of Adamantine and Platinum. The adventurers took what they could carry and sold the knowledge of the location and contracted out their services to further explore for more potential veins. The economic boon was enormous and Stormhold experienced massive growth, Massive Metalworks were built to refine the unique material.
In 1816 AGF Tensions had risen in Bralor over the collapse of the mines in Bronze Cliff, the "accepted" theory was sabotage and in response security was increased at Shimmer Cliff and Stormhold. The noble in charge of the increased security at Stormhold was known to rule with an iron fist, but the people pushed back, sparking open conflict and leading to civil war. Envoys were sent to try and deescalate the situation, allowing anyone who wanted no part in fighting to be allowed to be escorted to temporary residents in CaveHaven. Many accepted this offer, but there was still those who didn't believe real change would happen, so the Army was sent retake Stormhold, the revolutionaries realized they couldn't hold the city outright so they instead turned it into urban warfare. When one building became indefensible they sabotaged it and retreated, the collapses lead to many more casualties, as the city slowly fell the revolutionaries heard the cause had spread and split into two groups, one group would retreat to Lakecliff and the Fortress of Barthmont and the other group would head into the caverns and destroy the paths leading to the mines and deny the resources. The Bralorian Army gave chase to both groups, but were unsuccessful, by the time fighting had ceased Stormhold was little more then rubble with no immediate use to them. This infuriated Highsummit and set the tone for the rest of the war.
After the signing of The Barthmont Accords, people started to return to the city and rebuild. During the war metalworks had been built in Shimmer Cliff, thus making it redundant to rebuild in Stormhold. The mines were slowly re-excavated and brought back into use, but the city has remained a shadow of what it once was.

Tourism
A section of the war torn part of the city was never restored, this was originally done because it just hadn't been gotten to yet, but would later be deemed as a memorial and a reminder to the consequences of corruption.
