Quinn Glorybuff

Quinn Glorybuff is the current Captain of Divine Justice, and sole leader of Natdivida following the collapse of the Divine Council . She is seen as a proud leader and devout champion of Asil.

Personal History

Quinn was born in Pasafin in 1191. She was born to merchants who worked with shipping and development companies. She quickly became integrated with the Church of Asil, as her parents were also devout followers. She gained the blessing of the church when she was 16 to start her training as a paladin of Asil. Throughout her early youth she had been in a training program to train warriors and towns guard.   Quinn had never been in a public relationship, nor does she have any known family still living. When asked about why, she quickly turns the questions down as she feels she should not have to respond to people's speculation about her personal identity or life.

Professional History

Pre Divine Council

After completing her initial training, she was placed in Terramonta to serve the community there. Though she became poplular with the people, her performance as a clergy / paladin of Asil was only acceptable when compared to the others in her class who excelled.   Higher ranking members of her order thought she would stop at her next appointment, a general clergy of Asil in Yunque. Then, in 1237, the secondary champion (second only to the Divine Council), suddenly became ill. He was reduced to a vegitative state within weeks and was beyond reason. Quinn was the only paladin available to take over his responsibilities, so she started going on quests. Her popularity skyrocketed from defending the people. She would battle great beings who tried to cross into Natdivida. She would go on campaigns across the world to aid in the major challenges the followers of Asil faced every day.   Many thought she would be a great representative on the Divine Council, but she was doubtful because there had never been a woman on the council before.

Divine Council

When Alistair Howe (the last Divine Council of Asil) died of a heart attack, she was chosen to be placed in the council. Though she never knew what happened in the room that decided her position, she always had a sinking suspicion that the only reason she got the job was because of her popularity with the people, and the Council's fear of revolt and revolution.   She was left out of the work of the council. Being sent on the publicity campaigns instead of research studies and diplomatic missions. Oftentimes being away when key council events would occur. This continued for 5 years, until The Reckoning occurred. The day before The Reckoning, Quinn Received a message from Asil, pulling her to Terramonta . She arrived just in time to protect the city from the invading Yaqao Tribe . She led the counterattack reducing the fighting of the body of the Tribe to dust.

Post Reckoning

She was dubbed the "Savior of Terramonta". Their House of Worship was renamed to the House of Change, and they erected a bell tower in her honor. She returned to Natdivida - City to find the city destroyed and the people in chaos. She rallied the Sentinels (military force) and managed the situation as best she could. When the city stopped panicking, she laid out a plan of action for how they will rebuild. It started with having a new leader, The Captain of the Divine, instead of the old, corrupt Divine Council. Those who would implement the plan immediately selected her as this leader and she now ran the most powerful nation in the world, in their most vulnerable year.   She rebuilt the nation physically and mentally, trying to put the people's faith back into the Founding Gods and their government. This period was called The Resurgance . The year was culminated in the speech she gave at the memorial service of the Reckoning. This was instead turned into the Retribution, and disaster struck again. Following her speech and narrow escape/survival of the devastation, she was attacked in Yunque by masked assailants. She did not take a single shot, deflecting their arrows with ease, and jumping down a 3 story building without as much of a flinch on the landing. The people still have faith in her and faith in the Gods as they protect her from harm and as she helps lead the nation through yet another great tragedy.
