He is a priest of Don, a faith of the sun. As the faith he follows is losing popularity within Yadharqouk, a province within eastern Sembar, he desperately attempts to bring back its influence with his temple being the last still operating.
He is known for his unorthodox methods and his relentless search for a remedy for a disease plaguing the lower class. It is rumoured that he was driven to desperation and delved into forbidden occult magics, convinced they held the cure.
He held Milon Flame, the late governor, accountable for what he saw as a lack of urgency in addressing the disease, pushing him to consider extreme measures to save his people. Ultimately leading to the plague becoming more deadly and spreading faster.
Now the magic has altered Elias’ form, causing him to grow an extra pair of fingers, have parts of his body decay and for his body to be weaker.
He denies the use of magic and claims the mutations were a curse he gained from a witch.
One he is determined to burn at the stake when he can find her.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Elias and his father during his childhood carved out the Milhaln Temple from a white stone pillar of the Iqanreton Almálak plateaus. A temple he operates till his death as it stands as one of the last operating temples to the faith of Don within the province of Yadharqouk.
It rarely sees visitors, rather Elias makes his way down to the Yadharqouk Capital to deliver his Sermon to the people directly.

Elias has never been questioned by his lack of partners as he has always put the protection of people first, however he has tried dating in his early adult life.
He is asexual and has no intentions of having his biological children, rather he has adopted a child for a while, Enas Milhaln.
Once he made the step into the occult arts of the magicians he swore off from engaging in relationships for the better of others.

He is grappled by the clashing of wanting to help people and the dangerous corrupting effects of the occult.
His limited interaction with it is a lot less than most magicians, yet he can tell how much his mind has been altered and it scares him.

He has an adopted daughter, Enas Milhaln, however his reasons for adopting her are sceptical. She fled from him once she figured out the experiments he was doing upon her.
He is also a descendant of the Milhaln line, featuring the great cheese making industry.

He speaks with authority, often talking down to those he doesn't deem worthy.
However behind his restricted emotions he cares a lot about those that suffers, with these emotions rarely slippling through.

He is rather wealthy thanks to the temple providing him with food, and living spaces without much charge.
However in his later years as the temple stopped receiving funds he started to become poorer, however through connections, he has managed.
