Milhaln Temple

This temple carved out of a white stone pillar of the Iqanreton Almálak plateaus.
It was created by Elias Milhaln and his father during his childhood.
It stands as one of the last operating temples to the faith of Don within the province of Yadharqouk with it rarely seeing visitors, rather Elias makes his way down to the Yadharqouk Capital to deliver his Sermon to the people.   On certain occasions, people pilgrimage up the temple, day travel up and day travel down with beds being available for an overnight stay. These occasions hold great significance for those loyal to the faith, as well as the charity it brings to the people in need.

Purpose / Function

To facilitate the praying and guidance of the followers of the faith.
For a period of time it functioned as one of the family buildings for Cheese making.
As well as providing bedding for those in need.

Alterations

Early into the contemporary era, Elias added a lab underneath the main building itself. This building was carved into the red stone that lay beneath the natural white stone of the rest of the temple. The walls were reinforced with beams and covered in red adobe.   After Elias passed the temple was transformed into a tavern with the original furniture and decor being scrapped and replaced with more wealthy items. Some of the rooms were repurposed or divided to create more bedrooms. The lab itself was boarded off on behalf of the governments ruling.

Architecture

This building follows some of the most common architectural designs found throughout the province, with small deviations on account of the white stone it is carved out of. The building is trimmed in accents of yellow, this was trimmed with gold however they have been replaced with the yellow-dyed adobe.   The base of the building is rectangular with 3 towers and a large central dome with an oculus hole allowing a direct view into the heavens.

Tourism

With the decrease in religious practises the building itself has become somewhat of a tourist site, with the plague that swept the province haunting that. Once Elias passed the temple was transformed into an Inn, this change gave it a rapid boost in tourism traffic.
