The people of Hollow all are unique and different, each with their own culture, ethnicities and faiths.
These writings are comprised of a wonderful array of species from the world.
These are shortened snippets to help provide you the reader a better understanding of the world that surrounds you, but be noted that the cultures are more diverse than these readings detail.
Ashen
Our population in the Eastern reaches mainly consists of the Ashen, a red skinned species with the a wide range of horn shapes, glowing ember eyes and the tail of Dragons.
They were born from the
Pact of Flame in the year -231 where
Enser Flame struck a celestial deal with
Shesire, one of the commonly worshipped higher spirits.
Daidarabotchi
The descendants of giants have made refuge in the southern arctic of the world. They used to live a life as nobles until their thrones were thrown over, now they roam the bitter wastes as nomadic tribes.
Firbolg
Firbolgs are natural guardians of the forest, found in the northern reaches of the known world.
Unlike other species, they are merely a collection of different species that had contracted lycanthropy, but instead of shunning or letting the beast take over they learned to accept it and use it to protect the wilderness.
Mirran
The ancestors to the Ashen are the
Mirran a more nomadic group. Although in recent years more and more have settled into the settlements.
Before the arrival of the Ashen they travelled within the wilderness hunting and gathering just enough to survive without damaging the environment.
They are mostly a tanned cream, often in more earthy tones. Their hair can often be found in earthy tones including moss green, and their eyes are typically brown.
Traditions dictate they wear their hair out.
Few of their old druidic tribes still linger and a few of these old campsites are available to see as time has washed them away.
Their wooden totem poles tributes to their faith, titled
Totems, have mostly rotted away.
The only remaining pieces are some limited holy sites that are still visited these days and some cave art that has been preserved from weathering.
Those that remain within the wilderness often resort to pillaging locals and foreigners.
Nain
The halfling men, although they are a relatively primitive group with a huge culture based on the seasons and banditry.
Skaal
The writing here is a combination of the translations from a Skaal and the observations of I, Jolien Starstrike, an Officer of the
Musk Candle.
The
Skaal are a collective term for a type of draconic offspring, they worship the tyrannical
Dragons that believe they are the direct offspring of the dragons.
They follow a tribal-like lifestyle for those that remain in the harsh marshes of Jultren, but for those that adventure out of their native land, they adopt life as sailors and mercenaries.
Stemdvag
The deep men are said to be carved out of the stone of the earth by the giants of old.
They are found throughout the caverns and peeks of the Mashent region.
Yig
by STRUGGLINGPAPY
