Nain

The nain are a race of short humanoids with a unique outlook on life. They differentiate between the gender by referring to the feminine as naine, the masculine as naina and androgynous as just nain.
They are half the height of Mirran been even smaller than the Waaltig. Their skin tones emit a pale coral, this is believed to emerge to them constantly protecting themselves from the sun by covering themselves in mud or wearing straw hats. Their eyes consist of earthly organic tones with rarer blue and purple tones for those generally a part of the nobility. They have a very slow facial hair growth rate making them more reluctant to shave their face, all genders grow facial hair. This slow growth of facial hair is redirected to the legs and feet which grow at a rapid rate, which often leads to covering the lower part of the body when possible. Hair tones are mostly blonde with orange and other clay shapes been common.
Their outlook on life ones with their pantheon Shemin, as they believe that life is a part of a cycle which will die and be reborn. This inevitable aspect of death is not terrifying for them as they see their reincarnation around the corner. This makes them very calm, but formidable warriors as they would easily risk their lives for the good of those around them.
Located on the west of Amriga they inhabit the Mud Pit, Colourful Swamp and Dry Forest. Early on having a fallout with the Mirran. Some speculate the mirrans and nains have a common ancestor, while others believe the connection would be stronger with the waaltig.
