Ekhmenet
Once a great empire and the dominant power in Central Mezia, Ekhmenet now stands as a single kingdom within the borders of the Ekhmeni Desert; though a fair-sized nation still, and though still a prominent political power, it is but a shadow of what it once was. Its people are proud, however—patriotism, respect of the past, and hope for the future are some of the most important values to its citizens.
History
Ekhmenet started as a smaller kingdom concentrated almost entirely along the Iterku River, but at the turn of the Fourth Cycle, thanks to the efforts (and conquest) of Sun Emperor Makhiktesh, Ekhmenet became a powerful empire, with virtually the entirety of the north continent under its reign.
But during the latter couple centuries of the millennium, during the course of and because of multiple wars, Ekhmenet has lost most of its extended territories. At present, it only maintains an established reign over the Ekhmeni Desert.
