Damian was born in February 2nd 1997 to a family living in a small apartment in downtown Miami. He grew up with a laser like focus on his studies allowing him to earn top honors and the attention of one of his professors.
Damian Tyson is the current Deacon of the Downtown Chantry located in Miami. A former student of the Straussen academy and language professor at Miami-dade college.

Personal history
Born in Miami Florida in 1997 to a pair of historians and researchers for the university of Miami. His parents instilled in him an appreciation for both history and culture. A mixture of extra tutoring and hard work led to Damian excelling in school managing to complete high school at the age of Sixteen. He was accepted into the prestigious New York University's history program. His undergraduate years went by with Damian holding onto the first spot in his class. After his graduation he was approached by his history professor with an offer to meet an acquaintance. Damian quickly agreed to the meeting and decided to attend Straussen academy.
He attended the academy and found himself fighting against men and women from various fields and positions in life. He struggled in the initial transition but he managed to adjust quickly. Thanks to his early tutoring he was able to master the Order's rigorous language requirements within a few years. He achieved his awakening a month after his 21st birthday. Once he was finished with his formal apprenticeship he decided to return home to Miami in order to better protect his family. He was informed about reported sighting of undead lingering in the city.
Upon his return to the city he confirmed that both of his parents were safe and that his sister would be returning home in January. He decided to seek temporary employment at Miami-Dade College in order to earn a bit of money and seek out potential apprentices in the students. He began researching the local area in search of an abandoned chantry in the downtown area.
