General
Mal Grand is a Lycan from an Alteration of Miand'Més. Since a few years back he is a member of the Anvilites' Guild and is World Ends Inn's well-appreciated cook. He is the one that makes sure that all who visits the inn leave satisfied, with full bellies.
Activities
Kitchen Worker
Mal Grand mainly works in the kitchen together with Ana the Baker and Chimera the Elder Goblin. Sometimes he is assisted by Leno the Handyman, though the Goblins are usually enough.
Assistent Bounty Hunter & Basement Patroller
Mal Grand sometimes helps out Odin the Bounty Hunter in various tasks, especially if they are dangerous. With his enigmatic history, training, and weapons he is among the more dangerous individuals that can be found at the Inn. From time to time, he also patrols the stranger areas of the basement together with Leno the Handyman and — but not that often — Ana the Baker.
Religious duties
Mal Grand also regularly preys to Beast Mother and twice a month he travels through Old Reminiscence and enters the Great Archive. Nobody is exactly sure what he is searching after, only that it is highly important.
Fate Watching
Usually, at dawn or during the eleventh hour last day of each week, Mal Grand meditates and gazes upon the wast Tapestry of Fate by using his Deck of Fate Cards.. This ritual demands concentration and as little distractions as possible, which is why he retreats to his room in the basement.
Appearance
Mal Grand is a Lycan of uncertain age, though a few grey hairs have become visible on his face. His fur is thick, fluffy and dark as coal. He has broad shoulders, lean muscles and a few scars noticeable through the fur on his arms and neck.
Apparel
Mal Grand is usually dressed in black robes, a white sleeveless t-shirt, and black pants. (He wears a red-stained apron when he is working in the kitchen.) On his feet he wears black hiking boots. Around his neck, he wears a necklace with an amethyst he claims have been in his family in several generations.
Weapons
Mal Grand owns a heavy automatic crossbow and a spear staff he calls a Guan'Dao. He received both in his youth, he claims.
