Davon Ialvis
Master of Artificing
Davon is a middle aged vedalken working within the Arcane Collective. He is a cheerful man often found elbow deep into some machinery or working on some new kind of death machine. While his cheerful smile could give the sense of the situation being calm anyone who has survived one of his failed experiments now that he revels as much in failure as he does in success, and when he fails several people often end up dead.
Even though his presence is dangerous his knowledge in magical items is invaluable. When he first started out as a mage within the arcane collective his existence was dismissed because of his extreme lack skill, being unable to use cantrips consistently. However when he got brought over to the artificing tower his natural talent left those around him in shock. While he still could not use magic he made up for it with magical items. It only took a year for him to grow to the position of expert artificer and the only thing holding him back was the constant help he needed with magical infusion.
Even though he could not use magic he was promoted to the top position of the artificers, expert of artificing. With his new resources his experiments became more and more dangerous, making other artificers flee the field. Within a few months of taking over he was named the master of artificing but this was not taken positively by other wizards within the Arcane Collective. They did not respect the new master who could not even use cantrips. Masters and experts within other schools of magic pulled their support to his experiments and he started to have problems continuing making progress. So he did what he felt was appropriate, challenged the other masters to duels. While the other masters outclassed him in terms of personal strength, the magical items possesed by Davon made him impossible for most of the masters to defeat. He receives the respect of the master of artificing today although many are still scared to help him because of how high his experiment death rate is.
For those outside of the tower he is known as the genius of magic items, supping a majority of magical combat items. For those inside he is known as the mad genius or the master of murder
A well respected and feared member of the Arcane Collective, Davon is the master of artificers. He is often seen in deep focus on his pet projects or observing new forms of magical phenomena. His temper can however quickly run our if he is forces to take time out of his day to do menial tasks or engage in matters not related to magical objects.
