Eyes of Dawn
The Eyes of Dawn are the paragons of justice, working to uphold the law. However, if the law does not stand for justice they will not help uphold the unjust law. Made up of soldiers, lawmakers and judges the Eyes of Dawn are in their own right a justice system with judge, jury and executioner. They operate in most cities but with a much larger presence in human cities then in elven or dwarvish. Although not sanctioned as the judicial system, due to their size they have been able to control a lot of the laws made, especially in the Empire.
Most members that join the Eyes of Dawn have already been guards, scribes or other roles within the judicial sphere. In a sense the Eyes of Dawn are those who have a stronger then normal urge to uphold justice. For some this even turns into zealotry and they see themselves as above the law, knowing more then all others. However the Eyes of Dawn still hold the public opinion in most parts of the world but some rulers are against there presence.
