Laeroth

Few speak with Laeroth and those who do have learned to keep it short. He is an old human wizard within the Arcane Collective who spends most of his time sleeping or just relaxing, passing of responsibility to others. When he is forced to do something he usually tries to get it done as fast as possible so he can go back to relaxing. Laeroth is the grand-master of evocation, making him one of the three strongest wizards in the world. He is known as the "source of fire" or "lord of destruction" for his actions in battle, sparing neither friend nor foe. Even though many of the masters within the Arcane Collective are annoyed with his habits none dare speak out against him fearing for their life.
Before becoming the grand-master of evocation, Laeroth was a disobedient wizard who served in the empire army as a bombardment wizard. There are mountains of paperwork on disciplinary action against his frequent misuse of magic, wounding and killing both allies and civilians with while attacking the enemy. However he was never let go due to the sheer effectiveness of his magic. When he left he had been credited with over 5'000 kills. A number he embarrassed when he returned to war as a master.
