Shar (ˈʃɑːr/ SHAHR)
Mistress of the Night/ Lady of Loss
Shar, also known as the Mistress of the Night, is the evil godess of Hades. She appears as a humanoid woman, followed by countless shadows of herself all slightly distorted. These shadows are lost souls she has gathered and they are brought to Hades to gain new life. For many she is seen as the guide in death as she will herd the lost souls to her home.
When you die there is only darkness, a void of nothing. But the mistress of the night will come out of that darkness and guide you towards the light. Take her hand and she will grant you salvation.There are many followers of Shar even on Midranor as they fear their soul lost for an eternity more then new life in Hades. While Shar is by every definition of the word, evil, her appearance to the masses is that of a healer and guide. She does not fight on the frontlines of war but instead uses rumors and change the narrative to be on the right side of history. Those that oppose her she quietly dispatch of in the dark.-Disciple of Shar
