Jacke Forthlin
Jacke was a royal assistant in Liaris and a brave warrior. He served the family for years, fought in the Battle of Liaris, and served on the council of New Liaris for a short time before being imprisoned. He assisted in leading the rebellion against the corrupt duchess of New Liaris. He sacrificed himself to destroy the reconstructed Lac'rima crystals, but rendered the city unlivable in the process due to the strong arcane aura that was released. Those still inside became horribly mutated and the area remains uninhabitable to this day.
