Rhidilia

From "Legends of the Brilia Wood" by Hergood Bladebrew   Rhidilia The City of Misfortune:   Rhidilia isn’t quite as dreadful as it’s nickname would make it sound. There is much culture there. A complete lack of laws allows for the worship of whatever gods you so choose (at your own risk of course). There are no restrictions, no building codes, no curfew. You can gamble on one end of the city and buy a whore on the opposite end. Don’t let my words deceive you, there are certainly downsides to the place. People tend to get robbed frequently. Everyone has an angle and something to gain from you. That said, there’s also a bit of heart when you look a little more deeply.   Rhidilia Proper: Every faction has some part of an influence in Rhidilia. Those with a larger influence tend to operate out of the city. Its location is optimal for the Crypthand, as it is closer to Uslos than the rest of Lethny Glade.
The Mottle: The Mottle is where the smaller monstrous races live. Goblins and kobolds and the like all living in harmony. Not by choice of course, but rather necessity. These are the runts of society. But in greater numbers they do alright for themselves. They treat each other with kindness despite their differences. It’s quite nice.
I promised my buddy Snurki that I would advertise his shop in my book. He did me a big favor and this is just a part of my repayment. He runs a souvenir shop on a street corner near the broken fountain. There’s some cool stuff in there. It’s called “Snurki’s Treasures”.   The Vorimon: The Vorimon is no place for the weak. Unless you’re forced into it, don’t go down there. Somewhere, the Vorimon connects to the Underdark. Monstrosities from below creep up to the surface. The factions have a long-standing agreement in which they take turns posting guards at the larger entrances to keep the beasts at bay. Years ago (697 to be exact), a plague took hold on the people of Rhidilia. The disease, called the Rot, caused the infected to literally rot away. I’m told it was a very painful infliction. Nevertheless, the Vorimon was constructed to house the dead.
After the disease faded, the city decided to make the Vorimon into a series of tunnels with which to connect the city. Somebody dug too deep, accidentally unearthing tunnels of the Underdark, a world beneath the world. Things that dwell in the Underdark are generally unpleasant. The tunnels became to dangerous for citizens, though some still venture down to pay respects to their ancestors.
