Thornhart Academy
The headquarters of the Thornhart Assembly. The academy doubles as a school for initiates who wish to learn in the ways of magic and the arcane.
Purpose / Function
The Thornhart Assembly thrives on the creation, refinery, discovery and use of their unique and powerful magic. They often take in young aspiring wizards and train them properly, often times recruiting them to assist in research. Their magical services are occasionally required for certain "delicate" tasks of the citizens.
Architecture
The building is woven with gold accents and has many wide open hallways. It has sections both in the overdistrict and underworld of Volagvaros
History
Constructed in 999, the building has undergone several additions and repairs since its initial creation. In 1198, an arcane experiment ended badly, causing an explosion that took out a large portion of the underworld section of the Thornhart Academy. Repairs have since been made, with memorials to those who died being placed outside the building.
Tourism
Tours are welcomed at any time, as the academy is always looking to recruit new students.
