Kuota Temple of Eldath
One of the oldest temples in Kuota, the temple of Eldath is dedicated to nature, broadly speaking, but more particularly to the individual experience of nature one finds when sitting beside a steam and listening to it running over the rocks, sitting in an isolated forest grove, or the wonder at getting lost in the night sky watching the stars.
The Cleric of Eldath Ya'Seek has overseen the temple for 28 years, and has become a person of great influence in Kuota as a result.
Architecture
The Temple of Eldath in Kuota has been grown, rather than built. Access to the main sanctuary is via a large, winding stair made of the branches that have been coaxed into a regular pattern. The sanctuary sits at the major crux in the tree, which has formed an expansive platform with a large open area 40 feet to a side surrounded by secluded bowers, each on its own branch, which serve as individual chapels and areas for solitary contemplation. The roof is actually the leaves the tree, so that dappled natural light filters down to the main floor.
At the back of a sanctuary is a private staircase that leads down to the interior of the tree, lined with magic lights that don't rely on flame. This where the clergy live, mostly in small, simple rooms. There is also a small dining area, kitchen, and chapel. Ya'Seek's personal chambers are here as well - 3 rooms (one for receiving, one for private meditation and one for sleeping).
