Aurelia 4

The fourth planet in the Aurelian system, Aurelia is an idyllic Class 7 world, rural outside of a few key cities, with rolling green hillsides and forests in the middle latitudes, lush jungles in the tropics, and fjords and highlands in the higher latitudes. The surface of the planet is 73% covered by water, with four major continents making up the landmass.

Economy:

Industry is centralized on the southernmost continent, with a space elevator transporting raw material and manufactured goods to and from orbital stations. Most defense industries, from firearms to ships, are owned and operated by royal charter or crown corporations, however other than that private enterprise is encouraged to meet consumer needs.

Defense:

The Royal Aurelian Defenses forces are managed by the Aurelian ministry of Defense, split between three parent branches, the ground Defense force, the air Defense force, and the naval defense force, with the navy having the marines as a sub-branch. The RADF is a small professional volunteer force dedicated to protecting the system and contributing to their galactic commitments. Total force under arms is just under 1.4% of the population.
