Catalone
The Princedom of Catalone is one of the larger Princedoms in Eckril, this is due to the cunning and sometimes violent expansion of the late Prince Lucretius. Seven years ago there was a successful rebellion that overthrew the tyrant and installed the leader of the rebellion Prince Damali of Catalone to the throne. Currently, the Prince is helping to restore the people's of Catalone after their trials. There is still debate about the return of the original borders after the incursions of Prince Lucretius into other Princedoms and Catalone faces heavy taxation to pay for the wars.
Demography and Population
Catalone mostly is comprised of humans and halflings, though there are more dwarves since the recent expansion. Being more inland there is less diversity of races in the capital city let alone the countryside making them wary of non-common humanoids.
Territories
This is the Princedom that runs most of the border The Great Fresh Sea in Eckril and now stretches towards the Kikrin mountains.
Military
During the time of Prince Lucretius Catalone had the largest, best-equipped, and best trained military in Eckril. That has since been dismantled. Now the military strictly maintains safety in larger towns and cities; the only elite fighters are the Steel Roc Knights who guard the palace and protect Prince Damali of Catalone.
Foreign Relations
Due to the warlord nature of Prince Lucretius Catalone is currently under heavy taxation from the rest of the Eckrilian Princedoms as "repayment" for damages. This has kept the area poor after the famine and war.
