Illumined

Those who follow the Light are known as Illumined. They believe that the Chaimor created the universe and all dwell in it, but because of mortal disobedience, were separated from their children. The punishment for this transgression was and is death and nothing can be done by an individual to atone. However, Illumined believe that the Chaimor love their children so much that they provided a way for mortals to be with them for eternity. All one has to do is simply have faith in the Chaimor, accepting the love they freely give.

Tenets of Faith

To the Illumined, following the Three means having a relationship with them. This means spending each day seeking to reflect their light. Not to earn atonement but because of the persistent love of the Chaimor. The Kadosh exists to aid followers in this daily goal. It goes into great detail regarding the character of the Chaimor and how Illumined grow to be more like them. In short, the most important teachings of the Kadosh are to love the Chaimor with all your heart and to love those around you as the Light has loved you.

Sects

Followers of the Chaimor can be found in community with one another throughout Mirizel. Whether it be in a temple, church, or home, Illumined are called to live life and worship together. This can take many forms depending on the surrounding culture or preference of individuals. Some find elegant and reserved sermons to be the best way to worship the Three, and others are drawn to relaxed and emotive churches. Both sides of the spectrum are valid, as long as leaders and individuals do not veer from the words of the Kadosh.
