Pantor

Structure

At the top of the chain of command are a king and queen, selected by a group of generals based on military service and experience. The king and queen exist as a team with equal power. While it is common for the king and queen to marry, it is not required and both are allowed to have families.
The highest-ranking officer from each region makes up the advising group for the king and queen. Each general selects representatives from their unit to handle everyday decisions in their region.
The representatives of each general are dispersed throughout a region. They handle civil and criminal cases as well as oversee individual units. Because of the large number of people in military service, individuals are often punished according to the strict code of rules each unit is required to follow. One of the worst punishment a soldier can endure is unhonorable discharge, revoking their citizenship.

Agriculture & Industry

A rich nation due to its natural resources and crucial services. Pantor’s territory encompasses large forests, ore deposits, and fertile grasslands. Because of the constant threat of war Pantor relies mostly on itself for resources. Wealth is equally distributed between the classes, with the upper class being the smallest and the lower class is the largest. Military success is the largest factor for a person’s wealth.
Discharged soldiers who do not settle on a specific trade often act as private soldiers or mercenaries selling their sword wherever they can. Farmers in Pantorin society sell most of their produce directly to their immediate community rather than selling abroad. Pantor exports their excess ore and lumber and is a major manufacturer of weapons.

Education

At age 13 boys and girls enter different educational systems run by specific military units. Important subjects for both are physical training, weapons training, teamwork, the importance of the Pantorian state, reading, writing, dance, blacksmithing, and strategy. Women’s training puts the most emphasis on strategy and blacksmithing.
