Ara'Dunrangash
Also known as Lesser Orbs of Bukrai. These hollow spherical black orbs are usually made from glass, obsidian, or crystal, are cold to the touch, and often radiate necromantic energy. Close or prolonged exposure will drain the life of anyone without magical protection.
Created in Morgathic Temples, they are consecrated by a human sacrifice. Every ritual, sacrifice, or torture adds to the power of the orb. They act as a receptacle to store the Shadow of Bukrai and all manner of demonic and necromantic forces.
Priests of Morgath and Necromancers tap this power to fuel spells, animated Gulmorvin (unfree undead), apply a curse to a location, person or object. They are sources of much destruction, pain, and misery.
Each Ara'Dunrangash is unique, having its own properties; however, all can create or summon the Shadow of Bukrai and inevitably will destroy any living creature who possesses one.
