Castle of Burzyn
Burzyn is the small Kingdom of Chybisa’s largest settlement and a significant trade center. King Verlid VII rules from this strategically crucial Dwarven build fortress, which is considered by many to be the most impressive fortress on Hârn.
Demographics
Government
King Verlid VII spends most of this time in Burzyn. When he is absent the elderly Constable Sir Barain Clamyns governs on his behalf.
Defences
Castle Burzyn is an imposing highly defensible fortress which is well garrisoned. A large contingent of the Royal Guard is always present.
Industry & Trade
Burzyn is one of the major trading centers on the Genin Trail and the point between the Cities of Thay and Tashal. Most caravans stop here to rest and trade.
River trade is strong between the Kingdom's manors and keeps as well as from infrequent sea-going vessels.
With all manner of goods passing through the town the local chapter of the thieves guild has become powerful and greatly feared.
Infrastructure
Toll Bridge
The King controls the only bridge over the River Ulmerien. It draws considerable revenue from tolls from caravan traffic using the Genin Trail.
It has been long rumored that King Verlid plans to construct a town wall in the near future.
Shobald's Tower
A ruined tower in the River Ulmerien which could be repaired and fortified. Was previously the primary residence of the first Kings of Chybisa and rumors that great treasures are buried in secret vaults have attracted looters over the years.

Shipwright and Hostel
The town has a small shipwright able to maker and repair river barges. He can also to a limited extent service seagoing vessels.
Southron's Rest Inn
A rough Inn filled with general riff-raff. Famous for its ancient dwarven made pipe organ which no one can play and as a trading center for horses with the nearby Hodiri barbarians.
History
160TR - The first King of Chybisa, Shobald I, built a fortified tower on an island in the River Ulmerien and established and town on its north bank.
213TR - During the Migration Wars, the town moved to the River Ulmerien's south bank, and King Verlid II built a keep new keep over an abandoned ancient Jarin hillfort.
458TR - The Dwarven mason, Hazmaral Orinain, his hired to upgrade the keep to the present fortress.
678TR - Burzyn surrenders to Kaldor in the treasure war. King Balesir goes into exile.
687TR - Balesir returns from exile with an army and captures Burzyn.
