Jarinese

Language of the Jarin people.   An old language, Jarinese was a merging of by ancient Jarid languages with heavy Elven and Dwarven influence. The god Ilvir may have had a hand in the language formation as well, given sentence structure and some words are similar to, the divine language of the Ivashi Ilvir’s monstrous creations.

It is artistic tongue and flows beautifully making it perfect for poetry and storytelling.

Some say it is a dying language but many Jarin stubbornly persist keeping it alive. Dialects are still spoken as a second language by some Jarin in isolated regions.

Geographical Distribution

Jarin Communities in the Dwarven and Elven Kingdoms.   Throughout the kingdom of Orbaal.   In isolated settlements scattered thoughout the Kingdoms of Harn as a secondary language.

Phonology

Spoken Jarinese has soft consonants and a pleasant rhythmic sound.
