Hyde Stenson has come to Mythrite to work and save up money so that he can move up his growing family to Mythrite and settle down.
Hyde is a stout man with brown hair and green eyes. He is an average height for a human. He has no visible tattoos or scars, but when he wears short sleeved shirts it's possible to see the very edge of a large scar on his right arm.
Hyde recently has become a member of the town guard. Hyde gives off an incorruptible air, though those principles have not been tested to anyone's knowledge. He is very pleasant to deal with, whether he's giving you directions or if he is arresting you. While loyal to the law, Hyde shows hesitation when he has to arrest people for charges he feels are unjust, like starving people who have stolen food or child pickpockets. Hyde does his best to treat everyone with respect, even his prisoners.
It's usually a mistake to ask Hyde about his family unless they have an hour to spare. He will happily talk your ear off about his beautiful, lovely, wife Rebecca back West. Hyde is saving up money so that he can bring his wife Rebecca up to Mythrite once he's settled and has a place for their family to grow. He is also happy to talk about his brief stint as an adventurer, but dodges the question about why he isn't still adventuring.

Employment
Hyde worked as his father assistant in the family blacksmith shop for most of his life and then joined the local town guard. He stayed at that post until he was gripped by wanderlust and joined a group of adventurers looking for riches. After that brief adventure he returned home and resumed his work at the guard but needed a change of pace and has moved to Mythrite to be a Guard and get a fresh start.
Morality & Philosophy
Hyde has a strong sense of fair play and doesn't tolerate the weak or worse-of being picked on. In general fair play refers to the law as Hyde understands it. The law is something that applies to everyone and shouldn't allow one person to step on others, at least as Hyde sees it. It's possible that view may be challenged while working in Mythrite.
