It’s also a compulsion if her servants are to be believed.”

“Stories place her as the daughter of a minor lord who didn’t want to settle down, with herself having a head for business. She took over a debt for a merchant one day that owed her father money and started to run the business. This choice caused some discord between her and her father, so she was kicked out. Now, she runs one of the better trades here. With all the monsters around, she claims that she could make a killing off of the more exotic pelts. She sells the furs of more normal creatures too, but wants to get the more special stuff. Not sure why…”

“The Lady Haste has been present in Mythrite for six months now, maintaining a decent flow of trade. She can often be found in her shop, ‘No Waste from Haste’, selling at fair prices. The town gets cold at night and winter approaches, so I would suggest visiting the shop at some point if you’re planning on staying for some time.”

Her family comes from Waterdeep. Has few real friends, but seems to be on good terms with many people in the town. Seems to wants to stay in Mythrite for a while. No known family lives with her. Only a score or so of servants, and one tough-looking butler.

“Nimune seems content as a fur trader. She’s got a sharp mind, seems poised to continue as long as the mythril stays and so does the town, and she has no lack of customers. Lives a nice manor too. She’s earned it, apparently.”

Nimune is a peacemaker. Class relations don’t worry her too much, but she wants to see everyone get a fair shot. The monsters presumably able to swoop down the mountain only excite her sense of mercantile need, since more monsters means more furs and pelts. She is more worried about a lack of policing, since she sees that as a major flaw in the town, but nothing that can’t be fixed. Somehow, she has so far helped the miners and workers stay happy, but feels that trouble is definitely brewing. What kind, she can’t say. She cares about the town, and does not want to see it die out so early on.
