The Korf's Heart

The Korf’s Heart is a tavern located in The Korf. It is one of the most populated gatherings within The Korf, being one of the only non-residential areas in it. Anyone going into the Heart will tell you it is a perfect replica of taverns from time’s past, as it has an incredibly old school look. With a stony walled exterior, candle-lit lighting, and rusty atmosphere, the Heart lures people in by bringing a sense of “hominess” to potential newcomers or people who prefer an old-school tavern. Due to its location, its primary customer is residents of The Korf itself. Unfortunately, this tends to also be people on the poorer side, who tend to come to The Heart for temporary escapism and relaxation.
It is known to have rare, but occasional live music from performers.
The bar is known to serve some of the widest array of drinks but is most famous for certain drinks that had seemingly been long forgotten and have a long history. Because of this, the bar tends to attract a lot of people on the older side.
Rumors state that there is a basement in the tavern that only a select few that the bartenders tell about, believed to be a center for gambling, prostitution, and assassins-for-hire. It is a known hot spot for many criminals because of this. Many people go The Heart seeking information and rumors not found publicly told. Fights often break out within the tavern as well, and there are a select few people banned from going near it as well.
