Zirva Inron Pesugo

Zirva Inron Pesugo struck out for Mythrite to escape his life in the Field Ward slums of Waterdeep. He grew up in a middle-class home, the son of modestly successful silk merchants, and he had imagined that his parents would allow him to take over the family business when he reached a suitable age. This plan turned to ashes with the unexpected death of his younger sister. Foul play was suspected but his parents were brushed off by the city investigators and they had no money to bribe officials into examining the case. Distraught and inconsolable, his mother committed suicide two years later, unmooring his father, who sleepwalked through his days and neglected his work. Despite Zirva's attempts to intervene, the business failed and their creditors descended like vultures. His father was dragged to debtors prison and Zirva narrowly escaped capture or surely would have suffered the same fate.   Penniless and homeless, Zirva clawed out an existence working all manner of odd jobs in the Field Ward, many of them unsavory. He tried multiple times to enlist in a trade as an apprentice, but he was barred when he could provide no proof of his identity; even if he had proof, he feared the master would have turned him over to the creditors for a reward. He suffered more muggings and beatings than he dealt out and figured it would only be a matter of time before he found a knife in his back. When he heard about the promise of mithril in the hills, he figured dying the wilderness would be a better fate than being murdered and forgotten in some back alley.   Zirva is a sour, difficult man who is quick to criticize others for any perceived fault or flaw, and he greatly overestimates his own potential and thus has few friends. Still, he has an undeniably strong work ethic, discipline, and iron will. Nothing that Mythrite or the wilderness throws at him seems to phase him in the least.
