Its unsure why or how but it seems that the Glade itself seems to be protecting the city itself. Due to this the city is well protected environmentally. The militaries of Stone Tree are also top notch due to the Elvish and Dwarven traditions on which it is founded.

Infrastructure

The 12 Districts of Stone Tree laid out in a radial alignment much like how roots spread out from the base of a normal tree. The 12 Districts are divided into a trilogy each trilogy is broken up into 4 districts each. The trilogies are defined by the function of those districts that are contained within it. The trilogies contain people of each financial group although in each group differs depending solely on the trilogy in with the group resides. The first trilogy is the Administrative Trilogy or more commonly known as the Parent Ring. Within this trilogy you will find the Senate, the Judiciary, the Treasury and the Policing headquarters of Stone Tree. There is also thick walls that surround the districts located here this is also the oldest ring of Stone Tree containing a great number of the relics from the founding of Stone Tree as well as some of the oldest buildings. This is where the founding districts reside known as the Iron and Wood Districts respectively. The architecture here is by far the most elaborate and embellished. There are manicured gardens and lush parks.   The second trilogy is the Developmental Trilogy or more commonly known as the Ore Ring. Within this trilogy you will find the Artisans, the Entertainers, the Researchers, and the Medical facilities. The walls here are not as thick as the ones around the Parent Ring but they are still pretty thick.   The third and final trilogy is the Labor Trilogy of more commonly known as the Sweat Ring.Within this trilogy you will find the markets, The storehouses , the Stables and Military Barracks , and the warehouses. Although this is technically the last ring of Stone Tree is is divided into two parts the first part is the area within the city walls proper and the second is the area just outside the walls that are surrounded by large palisades created from a mixture of both wood and stone. The reason for this light protection is so that they can easily be moved because this is where the farmland of the city is. Speaking of the walls that are separating the two halves of the Sweat Ring they are large walls thicker then the ones surrounding the Parent Ring and higher to an outside observer these walls look like they extend to the canopy of the massive petrified tree which stands at the center of the city.
