Greater Hyrule
Structure
Greater Hyrule has a provincial governor and council of representatives located in Hateno. This system's power does not fully extend to Hyrule Castle City, which is located within the bounds of Greater Hyrule but also has its own mayor and is Hyrule's primary seat of government.
Culture
Due to the nature of food production in Hyrule, the majority of the Greater Hyrulean population is still made up of farmers, even in the modern day. Farming as a profession holds great respect in general Hyrulean culture, largely due to the importance a stable base of food production had on the kingdom's reconstruction 500 years ago, and so the people of Greater Hyrule take pride in their importance to the nation's continued success. Because of this, though, there can be a stigma around people who choose to pursue other careers, and the province in general sees low uptake on higher education outside of cities like Hateno and Castle City. Nonetheless, a high percentage of residents would report that they are content with their lives if asked.
Demography and Population
Greater Hyrule is made up mainly of Hyrule Field and the capital city and its surrounding suburbs. In the Field, the population is primarily Hylian, but the areas in and around Castle City are some of the most diverse in Hyrule. In the southeast, Lake Hylia is highly populated by Zora.

Agriculture & Industry
Greater Hyrule is primarily an agricultural power, in large thanks to Hyrule Field. Rice is grown in the east of the province, wheat in the north, and goats and cattle are ranched in the south and west. Castle City is well-known for being a center of Hyrulean arts and culture.
