River Zora
River Zora are a subset of the Zora species. They dwell in freshwater, as opposed to the Sea Zora. River Zora tend to be darker in coloration and are more often navy blue and indigo-hued as opposed to the blue-green sea Zora. They are better suited to cold water and tend to be built more sturdily than their oceanic cousins (the sea most adjacent to Hyrule is a warm one).

Art & Architecture
The River Zora are generally viewed by the majority of Hyrule as the nation's most accomplished artisans. Of course, ones' species has no actual input on how talented or creative one is, but River Zora culture puts significant emphasis on aesthetics and certain standards of propriety. Many famous musicians, painters, sculptors, architects, etc., have been River Zora and there is an expectation, bordering on pressure, for younger Zora generations to carry on their ancestor's legacies.
