Genetics and Reproduction

Earthen Folk have a very special form of reproduction. Earthen folk are able to perform a ritual where the blood of two Earthen Folk, regardless of gender, are mixed with the dust of a precious gemstone and spread on stone that is carved with special runes. Once this ritual is complete, the stone breaks away and a baby dwarf is born. while facial features and most genetics of the parents are shared with the infant, the material of the stone determines the hair color, and the gemstone used determines the eye color.

Social Structure

Earthen Folk social structures are highly based on family hiearchies called Clans. Because the nature of Earthen Folk Reproduction, gender isnt a factor, but parentage is. Children are the bottom of the hierarchies, followed by the parents, the grandparents, and so on.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Earthen Folk are located all over Moirai, though their homeland is that of The Elemental Planes, specifically the Plane of Earth. They have found a second home in Machina.
