Burnfist Clan
The Burnfist Clan of kobolds reside in Boora Bog and worship Ydarion the Night Cutter, a young black dragon, as their god. Under Ydarion's bidding, in an attempt to spread their influence, they sent out a small contingent of kobolds led by Fell to set up a base of operations in the Scarlet Hills with the intent of harrying the trade route within to steal riches to be sacrificed to Ydarion. The settlement was destroyed by the League.
One of the kobold survivors of that settlement swore revenge on the League and led a siege against the guildhall, bringing Ydarion with him. The siege was stopped, Ydarion fled, and the kobold survivor was slain. In the aftermath, the party inadvertently caused a crisis of faith with one of the kobolds, who began to question Ydarion's divinity.
After the Burnfist Clan abducted several young halfling scouts, the party negotiated to free them, but also opened the League Guildhall to the kobolds to further their learning.
Cosmological Views
Ydarion is the god and when they hatched from their egg, the egg became the world. Simple as that.
Tenets of Faith
Do what Ydarion says or get burned alive in acid.
Worship
Worship is conducted by giving anything that Ydarion wants to Ydarion, lest you be burned alive in acid. Or eaten. Sometimes Ydarion eats worshippers.
Sects
The Doubters
Led by Guc Fuggruc, the doubters are questioning Ydarion's divinity. If Ydarion was hatched from an egg and the egg became the world--who laid the egg? Ydarion's mother must have been even bigger and she must have come from an egg, which would have been bigger--but what is bigger than the world? The doubters are currently tolerated by the Kobolds at large, but they quietly wait until Ydarion orders them to be burned alive in acid.
