Married to Arthur Kelmen, she and her husband run a pig farm outside of Caer Craftenor. Esme was gored by a wereboar attack, and Arthur was able to fend off the creature, killing it, whereupon it transformed back into a human. Esme was infected, but Arthur stood by her and they have found a way to 'make it work'. They work with Mr. Goety's Traveling Carnival Cacaphony when it comes to Caer Craftenor during the Poc Fair where they run a "Catch the Greased Pig" booth. It was at this event that Esme saw Levi and assumed he was one of the visiting lycanthropes. She has the aggression of a wereboar, but Arthur is smart about it and feeds any remains to their hogs who devour any remains.
