The White Dragon that Breathes Fire was sought by Wendall Wallace in his explorations, where he came upon Bolvaic. He was tracking a white dragon that supposedly breathed fire--which is unheard of since white dragons breath frost. In his expeditions, he separated Bolvaic from his clan and was unsuccessful in finding the dragon. Upon Bolvaic's return, however, he discovered that his clan's home and his clansmen were slain by fire--presumably the white dragon that breathes fire. Later, returning to the sight, Bolvaic found a dragon's white scale marked with a Dwarven rune at the site which attuned him closer to his ancestors and slain clan.
Rivariin and Bronwyn were protecting a Moonwell on Baeddan from a group of members of the Cult of Black Blood when a large white dragon flew down and breathed fire out, destroying the Moonwell--but not before the Moonwell protected them from the fires. However, the destruction of the well also destroyed the Fey Crossing, severing Rivariin's link to his mentor, Talshod who had entered the crossing.
