The ancient resource extraction facilities of the Second Wave are still maintained by Suomalainens. The people of Suomi have critical resources for making spike drives. They were originally founded for political liberty. Finnish, Norwegian, Estonian, and Lithuanian Cultural flavors. They welcome offworld customs and people. They constantly exploit offworlders in small-scale ways. They value honesty; they shun deceit and lies. Their vice is corruption; they have venal rulers and officials. Certain art is desired but taboo.
