Carmines
The Carmines are an advisory council to the Monarch of Autumia . Most members happen to be either skilled magic users, great warriors, talented inventors, charismatic diplomats, experienced healers, or intelligent scholars. However the only requirement is that they are humans that the current Monarch trusts the most. Thus the Carmines are commonly the friends, caregivers and family to the current monarch
Their main purpose of the Carmines is to watch over and assist the monarch. This can be done in many ways. Some Carmines help the monarch in performing their duties. Others served to protect the monarch and to watch over their health. Some Carmines assist the monarch in making decisions and carrying out actions. Some carmines can even represent the Monarch in foreign affairs that the monarch themselves cannot attend. Overall it is a position of respect and prestige and is commonly seen as the rank second only to the monarch.

The are only official 10 Carmines. However many Carmines will have additional support to assist in there tasks that require more manpower.
Equipment
Each Carmine receives a golden butterfly brooch which has a different color crystal encapsulated in the center. The brooches are used as the seal of authentication when the Carmines are attending to certain matters. Thus the brooches have various powerful and complex wards and spells to authenticate them and to prevent damage. They also have charms that make them easily located by the monarch and other Carmines, a useful trait to recover a stolen Brooches. They are also jinxed to send off a silent warning and glow if worn by an unofficial person. This helps to prevent theft and misuse of the brooch.
The brooches are also enchanted so that they allow the current wearer to access the memories and intellect of previous wearers. So current wearers can effectively communicate with the previous wearers. However knowledge that a current wearer can ask previous intellects is limited to the knowledge the previous bear had while wearing the brooch. Thus historically each of the different colors are given to carmine that fill a common role.
Pink Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Hearts, this brooch has been passed down to lovers, closest friends, or family of the monarch. This carmine is serves as an emotional support and commonly watches over the mental and emotional health of the monarch
Red Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Warriors, this brooch , as the name implies, has been past down to skilled warriors, defenders, or weapons master. This Carmine is commonly in charge of the physical protection of the monarch and serves as bodyguards of the monarch.
Orange Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Peace, this brooch has been passed down to skilled diplomats, negotiators and anthropologists. This carmine is serves as a diplomat on behalf of the Monarch
Yellow Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Voice, this brooch has been passed down to charismatic individuals and dynamic speakers. This Carmine commonly deals with matters of Public affairs and commonly serves as an Orator for the monarch.
Green Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Coin, this brooch has been passed down to effective business men or or intelligent traders. This Carmine commonly deals with financial matters and trade.
Blue Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Creation, this brooch has been passed down to brilliant inventors, inspired enchanters, and craftsmen. This Carmine commonly deals with creating objects and looking over matters involving the magical sciences
Violet Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Wonder, this brooch has been passed down to powerful magic masters or creative magic manipulators. This Carmine commonly deals with protection and enforcement of the city of Oasis.
Black Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Whispers, this brooch has been passed down to skilled strategists, spies, informants and assassins. This Carmine commonly deals with matters involving gathering information and espionage. They also commonly assisted with military strategy.
White Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Life , this brooch has been passed down to skill healers or people skilled in supporting magic. This Carmine commonly deals with the physical health of the monarch and city itself.
Clear Butterfly: Also known as the Carmine of Judgement, this brooch has been passed down to knowledgeable historians, lawyer. and judges This Carmine commonly assists in matters involving judgment and enforcing of the law.

Recruitment
When a monarch is crowned they chose their first council of Carmines. A monarch can choose to kept certain members, replace some or even change them out entirely. Normally a carmine will serve either till a new monarch is crowned or till a carmine dies. However, a monarch can remove a Carmines status and appoint new Carmines at will.. Carmines can also choose to step down from their position if desired
