Born to High-Elven parents in an isolated and relatively-xenophobic enclave deep in the forests of The Faerunian Wilds, Seraphina spent her first several decades honing the craft of archery and learning the proper Elven ways. After decades of rote recitation from historical tomes and mastering target shooting, Seraphina became bored with the repetition of life and broke with tradition to venture out of the secluded enclave, a decision that cut her off from her family and the traditions of her High-Elven society. Now free and without any support system, she bounced between several settlements while trying to learn the ways of the world and using her talents to scrape by.
