Kovach

As a city founded by vampires and ruled by humans, Kovach has a longer history than most cities on the continent. Its districts are a scrambled sprawl of streets and alleyways, the sewers running under the city are literally older than the city itself, and its rumoured that vampires yet sleep under the island. History

First founded as a vassal city-state in an expansion of the vampire empire the city was freed in a violent coup. This however played into the vampires' hands as they simply moved behind the scenes. Eventually humans did come to truly rule the city and it gained true independence. This was lost when it became the seat of the Königstadt empire.
