The Kethran Regency

A regency originating in Kethra , expanding to Heimskar, and then more recently becoming an independent part of the The Konigstadt Empire .

History

Kethra was originally ruled by vampires, they expanded off of the island onto the continent and created Kethra, this was during the age of Terranon. After many years the The Kethran Hunters Order was created, they hunted down the vampires leading the mobs that sacked the castles this occured while the empire was first being established. Once the vampires were no longer a threat the order became pariahs and they were hunted themselves, though not without reason their practices were more than a little unsettling and The House of Uchitel from which they came has a dark history. For a few decades, there was peace. Then the empire made the point its recently discovered wealth and military power could be put to great use dominating The Kethran Regency. Kethra made a treaty, to retain certain power, independences, and privileges. Whatever the empire may have had planned next was put on hold during the saurian invasion, as the Regency was cold they didn't see much of the invasion, the war brought their relative armies strengths closer together. After the Saurian retreat and the following spice wars, the empire's military has been significantly depleted, so much so that they're conscripting.
