The Wild Elves allow the mortal alliance to move through the evergloam, but taking a shortcut throught Arcadia.

The armies of the Mortal Alliance, recovered now after the troops lost taking Eldarim, march through Arcadia creating The Eternal Marsh in doing so. While the journey through fairie removed time in the material plane it took months in arcadia, the troops were forever affected by the strange things that they saw.
