Duke Armond Davion was the second son of Duke Varys Davion. When Duke Varys Davion died, his heir mysteriously died in a boar hunt. Many accuse Duke Armond Davion of causing his brother's death as it caused him to inherit Kingstay, thus there is a faction of the population that believe him to be an illegitimate ruler.

Due to its location along the road between Andoria and Gilbrand many travelers stop here, thus Kingstay is well known for its inns and taverns.

  Duke's Library

  Description:

  The Duke's Library was built on 10th of Tiamatus 3922AA. The building was commissioned by House Davion by command of Duke Cornellius Davion III. Since the time of its construction, the Duke's Library has been kept and administered by House Davion's head wizard, often titled "headmaster."
  Currently the Library is administered by Headmaster Orland Davion.
  The building is a four story stone building with a flat foor and a center dome over the central rotunda with the stained glass feature facing northwest.
  The library is organized as such:
  The First Floor is the Civic Knowledge repository, where official records, blueprints, official letters and official journals are found. The Second Floor is the Arcane Knowledge repository, where research on arcane knowldge can be conducted, which include tomes on studies of arcane magic, as well as spellbooks can be found. The Third Floor is the Mystic Knowledge repository, where research on Mystic knowledge can be conducting, which includes a exensive collection on myths, deities and religious text. Many holy texts can be found here. The Fourth Floor is where the Duke's personal collection can be found as well as the office of the headmaster along with his librarian offices are located. Access to the Forth Floor is limited.
