Dwalin Undermount

Biography
Dwalin Undermount was born to a dwarven merchant's family in Windhelm. His father sold trinkets and pieces on the markets and at times led caravans through the Westfork. Through these, Dwalin learned the craft of mercenary work. Barely out of his teenage years he cut down his first bandit trying to raid one of his father's caravans. Dwalin got a taste for the job and served as a mercenary with several mercenary companies, eventually creating his own: The Amber Hammers. He gained quite some renown with the dwarvenfolk in the Westfork as he always offered his services to them for cheaper rates. When The Night's Watch under Marcus Vardenfell announced their plans to retake the dwarven city of Karak Azul many dwarves volunteered for the venture. One of the first among them were the Amber Hammers. Dwalin saw in the pursuit the possibility to finally reestablish a homeland for his kin.
