Johannes Redmane

Johannes Redmane was one of the early converts to Innos in the Watchlands. Originally from a small town in the south of Rhudaur, he had to flee one of the orc raids coming from the Southern Wilds. The young Johannes found refuge in the Great Monastery of Fire (Westfork). Enthralled by the beauty and rigorous belief in order he encountered there, the priest Johannes was soon to join Saemus in establishing the Church of Innos in The Night's Watch. 
Where Saemus was more of a pragmatist, Johannes always had a fascination for the occult and mysticism. He believes, somewhat like the Order of the Flame from Khorinis(location:c7c5f427-14f6-486d-9e3e-09f79dc81554) that Innos has to be approached by true unadulterated belief only. Therefore he lives a monastic lifestyle and used to sometimes leave his post as bishop of Denerim for days to find Innos in nature. He also advocated for so-called 'fire purification rituals,' which are frowned upon by the Chantry in Myrtana, but are said to drive out evil spirits sent by @[Beliar.  
Johannes succeeded Saemus as Archbishop of the Watchlands in 1455.
