Monastery of Fire (Westfork)
The Monastery of Fire was constructed on the location were the first believers of Innos in the Westfork prayed. They were drawn to the magical energy resonating from location. The Chantry of Fire took residence in the monastery, training their mages and priests from here. In recent years it has been revealed that the monastery was constructed on top of the old elven temple of Daleth. The monastery is the seat of the High Flame of Myrtana.
The monastery is a large walled complex built against the slopes of the Talon Mountains. It encompasses religious buildings, sleeping halls, studies and one of the largest libraries in the known world. At the center is the Chapel of Fire. Here the priests hold sermons every morning. During the day it functions as an audience hall for the High Flame and other high ranking priests. As the center of the Innos religion in the Westfork it is a holy site, where people often pilgrimage to. One special breed of pilgrim are the paladins, who come there to be sacrified in the holy fire.
