Katarina Redcliff

Biography

Even though Katarina was still a little girl when her father Boris Redcliff took control of the Duchy of Montera in Myrtana, she remembers those days fondly. Finally the bowing and groveling at her weak uncle's feet was over. Boris trained Katarina to be a strong and ruthless warrior from a young age on and sent her on missions commandig soldiers in Mulandir when she was only 14 years old. Here she grew to be as tough as her father, and if possible, even more ruthless.
In fact Katarina delights in cruelty, but knows when it is necessary and when it isn't. Her nickname amongst her troops is 'The Chill,' because she silently hews her way through her enemies until none are left and the sight of the carnage leaves chills on even the thoughest men. Katarina has been groomed as the heir apparent and often assumes command of the Monterran troops. She was left with the high command of the Duchy when her father left on his campaign against Luthetia in 1461.
Katarina often organizes brawling matches in Monterra, where she is known to control the gambling offices. Her relationship with her mother is strenuous, as she often believes Katarina's behaviour to be unbecoming of the next Duchess, but it is often said that she inherited her ruthlessnes from her mother. So there's something they share, at least.

Skills

Katarina wields a giant cleaver in battle. She is very intimidating and level-headed. She is a good commander who inspires loyalty through fear.

Personality

Katarina doesn't speak much. But if she wants, she can shout at enormous volumes. She is ruthless and cruel and doesn't mind sacrificing men if it wins her the battle. She is very much driven to be as much as possible as her father, whom she adores.

Katarina is all about destroying her opponents. She is driven by competition and doesn't suffer fools.

As the next Duchess, there is quite some speculation who will become her husband.
