Marshal Jakob

Jakob is the Town Marshal of Shire of Sloniz. He is a rather timid figure, never walking without his guard friends. Although he's officially the town's marshal, he doesn't seem to really be in charge of Rognaz and his bugbears as far as Rognaz is concerned. Nevertheless, he does an efficient job at driving off the few rebel goblins living in the jungles.

Post-expedition

Jakob amassed his forces after Sloniz's murder and followed The Resourceful Ones to a shrine dedicated to Sanguine. He waited till the adventurers were weakened by the succubi inhabiting the shrine, before launching his strike on the adventurers. The expedition force overpowered the Marshal's forces and while attempting to escape, he is caught by a crossbow bolt from Balin Thornbow (see Session VIII: The Treasure of Sloniz Report).
